AI for Executives

What AI actually is, what it costs, and where it fits in your org — enough to say yes or no with confidence.

4 stages~6 h
That leaves 4 stages, ~6 hours of focused work. You can clear it in any order, but the stages compound — try them top-to-bottom your first time.
  1. You'll pick up:

capability map, generative vs predictive, automation vs augmentation, hallucination risk, jagged frontier

    Lab task

Build an "AI capability map" page: a 2×2 canvas (creates vs decides × high vs low factual risk) where you drag common business tasks into quadrants — with a legend a CEO could quote in a meeting.

    Build it in the Lab
    Checkpoint

In one breath, you can tell a colleague which two kinds of work AI owns this year and which it should not touch.

What you'll be able to do
  • Explain to your board, in two minutes, what AI can and cannot do for your business this year.
  • Rough out the economics of an AI proposal: cost, payback, and the risk of doing nothing.
  • Run a 90-day pilot with success criteria written before it starts.
  • Ask the five governance questions every AI initiative must answer.
